Intro x Cultura Nova: Rotunda
GLASS * TAPE LOOP * RESONANCE
Air bubbles, distortions and irregular grooves produce a rich spectrum of sounds: from subtle crackles and resonances to low, sustained drones. The properties of the glass help to determine how the sound is produced, making the material itself audible.
During *Rotunda*, Didianne Leusink explores how glass, tape and other analogue systems interact with one another. Through live manipulation and experimentation, a dynamic dialogue unfolds between control and chance, listening and action.
The audience is free to move around the space. Every movement reveals new details and perspectives within the constantly changing soundscape.
Rotunda will be performing on the same evening as Public Attention. Find out more about Public Attention here.
