Ensemble88 has been around for more than 35 years and has a long tradition of cooperation with Intro in Situ and composers from the Euregion. The concert they perform during the Day of the Composer features compositions by several talented composers.

Ensemble 88 is a professional, dynamic ensemble specializing in contemporary chamber music. The ensemble stimulates innovation in the field of music by commissioning compositions and performing them in consultation and collaboration with the composer. Cross-overs with visual arts, literature, film and architecture are part of the programming.
