Intro in Situ belongs to Maastricht and Maastricht belongs to Intro in Situ - 40 years in 2024!

In our ruby anniversary year Intro presented various special projects: on the street, the field and along the Meuse. There were workshops and we celebrated the Day of the Composer.

On October 5 and 6 the anniversary weekend took place and we presented special performances with a characteristic Intro signature at different places in the city.

In the middle of the Vrijthof was the gigantic yellow 'inflatable' organ ball C-19 by Kaspar König.

In the bicycle basement of Central Station, Rianne Wilbers and Theo Decloecdt performed Opus of a Bicycle Shed by Mathijs Leeuwis. In the Servaas Cathedral, Paul Devens' robotic percussion ensemble presided with the performance of his Deflections.

We do not take for granted that this workshop and stage for new music and sound art has already turned 40. Thanks to everyone for their support and commitment during these years!
