ABOUT INTRO
Intro in Situ supports boundary-pushing composers and musicians in their development.
PURPOSE*
Music and (sound) art lovers, chance audiences, (aspiring) musicians and adventurous culture visitors know to find Intro in Situ as the place in the border region between Maastricht (NL), Aachen (DE) and Liège (BE), for a contemporary program of music and sound art: future-oriented sounds with roots in the here and now.
ANBI*
Stichting Intro in Situ has a status of cultural ANBI (a Public Benefit Organisation).

FUNDING*
Intro in Situ receives structural support and funding from the Provincie Limburg and the municipality of Maastricht.
In addition, Intro receives support from various funds on a project basis. In 2026 and 2027, Intro receives a contribution from Dioraphte for the residency program and a contribution from the Performing Arts Fund.
For the Echoes project, Intro is collaborating with Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln
Intro's workshop is built on equality with an artistic core consisting of artists and focused on innovative music that emerges in this time through artistic research.
