YOUNG MAKERS * PREVIEW * EXPERIMENT During this evening, Korzo opens the doors of its rehearsal rooms and halls and takes you on a journey through the creative process of creating new music. You will see and hear exclusive previews of young artists working on new pieces: raw, exploratory and in full development. Excerpts, experimentation and conversations offer a personal glimpse behind the scenes — up close, unvarnished and together with the audience.
Rizoom brings together the strengths, expertise and networks of its collaborating partners to guide, programme and facilitate young, idiosyncratic creators of new music.
This gives them the time, space and budget to experiment, collaborate and develop sustainably — with fair remuneration and long-term collaboration as a starting point.
Rizoom is a collaboration between Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Korzo, de Doelen, Intro in Situ, Gaudeamus, November Music and Asko|Schönberg.
