Labelmates Brian Omen en Ramses3000 join forces in a new performance where they explore each other's musical worlds.

Together, they present a live show that pushes the boundaries of electronica, ambient, shoegaze, and spacerock. This is enhanced by visual effects designed by Robin Oomens, digitally distorted and deconstructed. Their first joint performance took place during November Music, where the duo played new material recorded in the studios of Willem Twee and RE:VIVE (Museum of Sound and Vision). This material, set to be released later this year, sounds spacious, dreamy, alienating, and at times overwhelming.

As a solo artist, Ramses3000 focuses on narrative, meditative electronic music with the intent to relax. Last year, he gained acclaim with his album Thalamus, which received praise from outlets such as NRC, Trouw, and Radio 1.

This music, recorded in a monastery, represents a unique cross-pollination of classical and digital realms, drawing influences from ambient, jazz, new age, and psychedelic music. He presented this work through an interdisciplinary performance, showcased at museums including De Pont, Het Noordbrabants Museum, Kunstinstituut Melly, and during the Amsterdam Dance Event in a sold-out Concertgebouw.

The other half of the duo, Brian Omen, has made a name with their releases Shores of Awareness, How To Access The Primordial Light, and Post-Ambient. Their music oscillates between liberating and oppressive, searching for humanity within a cold dystopian world. Featuring sounds that can sometimes scrape, digital textures, and loud, cinematic crescendos, Brian Omen seeks bittersweet nostalgia for a future that has yet to happen.

Their performance at Draaimolen was praised by 3voor12. At the festival, they presented an experimental performance incorporating self-designed scents, which have also found their way to events like Paris Fashion Week and Dutch Design Week.

This performance is made possible with support of Music Hub Brabant.
