EXPERIMENTAL POP * IMPROV * STUDENT-DRIVEN FESTIVAL Italian-born, Copenhagen-based musician Margo Sanda presents a special live performance. Her music, rooted in experimental pop with a raw, almost punk edge, exists in the ‘in-between’: part song, part chaos, part digital cave.
Ahead of Margo Sanda’s concert, talented young students from Vykintas Baltakas’ composition class at Conservatorium Maastricht push boundaries in an immersive performance. Written scores and free improvisation blend into bold, experimental music for instruments and electronics.
