But that’s not all they’ll be doing. During Sounds of Resistance, you’ll learn how a radio works, but you’ll also be encouraged to reflect on the meaning and consequences of this ubiquitous means of communication: a radio operates through physical phenomena. These are, of course, always neutral; they exist outside our human conflicts. A radio is not.
In this performance workshop, Het Concreet sheds light on the consequences of our dependence on technology and its creators, and together with the participants, they take a stand against it.
Want to join? The workshop is run by Het Concreet. No prior experience of soldering is required. There is space for a maximum of 15 participants per workshop. Participation is free of charge. You can register via info@hetconcreet.com
