Intro Tuning In
On 6 March, Tuning In will transform the Bankastudios into a vibrant centre for musical exploration. Expect performances ranging from ambient soundscapes to dream away to, to noise performances to stimulate your senses. To reach the night’s climax, we’ll be pumping electronics, house and techno through the Bankastudios.
The program:
Zoef
Influenced by worldbuilding and simulation logic, Zoef works with sound and is currently exploring a move from fixed works toward simple systems. By setting conditions, she allows sound to shift and reorganize, responding live to what emerges.
A. Dumont
Shaped by his post-industrial hometown, A. Dumont seeks to translate his surroundings into sonic passages. Detached from the constraints of genre, tapping into themes often suppressed in a collective act of escapism.
Ethan Blackburn & Phuc Nguyen
Ethan Blackburn is an American art worker and composer. In his work, he engages with sound and space through social contexts as noise. For his performance at Tuning In he will be joined by composer and sound artist Phuc Nguyen.
Annarch1a
Annarch1a is a multidisciplinary artist and performer. Her practice moves between sound, noise, and physical performance. In her work, she explores themes such as shame, pain, and existential tension, often through digital noise and physical limitation.
