Sequenze: Embodying Time
*ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE *EMBODYMENT *OPEN JAM Sequenze: Embodying Time explores how performers and listeners experience and embody different perceptions of time. The program moves between interpretation and improvisation, tracing a trajectory from the sculpted temporality of composed works to the open, unfolding continuum of free improvisation.
The evening features works by Luciano Berio, Mario Calzada, Francesca Fantini, and Luigi Nono.
The evening will finish with an open jam session of free improvised music, inviting participants to engage with scores and concepts developed during the preceding workshop.
