Boi Akih is a movement of sound and feeling. Their music is an adventurous blend of poetic vocals and layered guitar compositions, creating a musical language that interweaves jazz, European and Moluccan traditions.

In The Sea Entirely, four musicians take one captivating musical journey together. Poet Joost Baars wrote a three-part poem for it, based on a travel diary by guitarist Niels Brouwer, who alongside Boy Edgar Prize winner (2023) Monica Akihary gets backup from pianist Nora Mulder and electronics wizard Ruben Kieftenbelt.

Supporting Boi Akih will be Nicolas van Belle. His music crosses over between improvisation, experimental music and noise resulting in a shifting interplay of texture, intensity and silence. He draws his inspiration from free jazz, noise and folk music, promising an eclectic and spellbinding performance.
